Have a good dog and hit the cattails.  Be ready to be very frustrated ;)

IMO waste of time for pheasents.  They are hit hard over there and super educated.  If you dog starts tailing one they like to run and flush way out of range.  That is if you can even find em in that thick crap.

We occasionally flush one in close, mainly because hes trapped in the cattails between us and water and the dogs pinned him.
