Hunted the Washougal unit last Tuesday 9/24 after work and took my first Archery doe. Weather was crappy and ripe for blacktail hunting. Found several doe's and a couple bucks in a clear cut. Stocked a doe and took a 40 yd uphill shot. Clean pass thru on the arrow. Doe ran 30yds and piled up. It's tough to get within bow range on these blacktails especially after spotting them in a cut. Thanks be to god... Meat in the freezer!!!!!

Congrats on the bow kill.
God is spelled with a capital G by the way. I'm sure it was just a typo on you original post Mr Ruttin Wapati
