Just curious if anyone has tried these boots. I have owned other high end gtx boots but they all seem to tear up my heels. I love the style of these boots but can't afford to be bleeding after one day on the hill. Thanks

I bought a pair and they hurt my ankle so bad when I lace them up tight. Maybe they need to be broke in, but I risk the chance to exchange them if they don't work out.

I bought these boots for my son and I used them a little last fall while my crispis were getting repaired. I didn't really care for them lots of slip in the footbed I thought. I used to where Pronghorns all the time. One I stepped up to a higher end to boot I can never go back to a Danner type boot. There is a world of difference between $150-200 boots like these Danners and Kenetrek, Crispi, Lowe etc. Obviously close to twice the price but your feet are the most important thing to take care of so don't skimp. If you hunt hard and hike you need good boots more than Swaros around your neck.
