Looks like the National Forests are shut down until this spat between the powers that be is over. What a crock! It better be cleared up before Nov 1 or I'll be trespassing.

I will be in the woods regardless of what the morons in DC are doing.

The Pend Oreille Refuge is closed per Federal enforcement as if today.

Yep. The forests are shut down. Nobody is allowed to use them........ :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :tung: LMAO.
Yep.. The Colville is closed until after the season.. Don't waste your time going there.

Tri county residents only........................

If they are shutdown and there is no one employed to enforce the closure who is going to stop you from using the land? :chuckle:

Lmao ... everyone just please stay home and obey their commands ...I am sure I will   :iamwithstupid: :mor: :lol4:

my son drew a turnbull refuge cow tag. will he lose his tag and points if they stay shut down? mike w
-
Well, no. He will still have his elk tag, but yes, he already did lose his points, when he drew the permit. If there is no access to the refuge, there is a chance the WDFW could reinstate his points. Or, they may give him a different time period to hunt, if the refuge opens back up. Or they may do nothing and he's just out those points. It's hard to say.

How are they closed? It's public land owned by the public. Yeah maybe the facilities are locked but the land isn't.

That and our constitution was written to restrict the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, not the people!

That's clever.

Saw this on another forum and thought it pretty well says it all................
In one day they sealed all national parks and national monuments in the US.
And yet in 30 years they've been unable to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into the US.
Priorities.

Its basicly extorsion. They are only closing services we enjoy. Notice the TSA will still be feeling peoples private areas, the IRS will still be open for pillaging, and homeland security will still be at work preparing for war with patriots. They are extorting us on a grand scale.

They really think they have the right to keep us off public land just becuase that Jacka$$ in the white house didnt get his way. That land belongs to US the PEOPLE. Not the politicians. They really think they can take the parks away until they get what they want? How about we fire them all and replace them with Representatives and Senators that do what the people who elected them want. You know, How it is supposed to be
