Yeah, you will have to wait for public sale. I am sure there will be permits left, people will decide not to buy again so not all permits will be purchased by existing holders.

Kapowsin Champion passes? You sound like me. Are you sure you only missed a year? :chuckle: I thought I was the only one who still called it champion. Thats the last time i was in there.

I still refer to it as champion also :chuckle: hard not too since I've hunted in there with uncle bob as far back as I can remember

Does anyone still call it St. Regis? I don't think of myself as being that old.

I usually call it champion, I liked most of the changes for next year, not the price increase but the others i like. I wish champion would draw 4 archery, 4 muzzy and 4 rifle elk tags though, they have the numbers to support more drawings for elk. Even with the employee drawing included.

"Champion"... that brings back memories. I remember back in the day when you could buy a day pass. Spent a lot of time out there as a kid grouse hunting with my uncle while they would deer and elk hunt.
What ever happened to the one armed gate keeper?? He was a cool old guy

Anyone remember the guy at the buckley gate years ago? We used to call him the "spandex king". He'd have his security uniform top, badge and all, but when he'd step out of his little shack, he'd be wearing spandex shorts!
