Title: Cougar kills coyote pic
Post by: fly4fish on October 06, 2013, 10:02:38 AM: Got this picture on my father's trail cam. I would say this cat killed the dog. Do you think this happens regularly?

Post by: hogsniper on October 06, 2013, 01:44:43 PM: That's a cool pic. I have seen where a cat has killed the female and pups here in Oregon. Also the same cat killed multiple single coyotes throughout the summer. Guess they don't like the competition!

I know back in the old days when people ran dogs. I know a few guys would find a lot more dead and partially eaten yotes in the winter when looking for/running cougars.

Post by: buck man on October 06, 2013, 04:04:43 PM: Cool pic! Another member on here(daydreamer) was tracking a cougar in the snow and heard a coyote yelp. When he got to there the cat had killed the yote and was eating it. Unfortunately the cat was quicker than him and got away. Once again awesome pic! :tup:

My parents are the ones that got the image. They have a few other images of the Cat. My Dad names things, and this Cat's name is Ted Bundy; part of the Alcata Terrorist Network.
