Proud pup there!

Oh yeah and another thing, he was braggin on that dog of yours being a very nice speciman loaded with natural talent. He don't give that out easy.

Thanks, went late in the day both days to miss the other people. Would have limited out if I were a better/quicker shot...
Wiley seemed to pick up a scent, get birdy and then would lose the scent. RJ said that he didn't like the pheasant in his mouth, once he got the bird he wouldn't give it back to me. lol All in all we had a great time!

Part of the wetside chicken game, many times that bird has allready been moved by someone you didn't get a glimpse of just minutes earlier, the chickens will also run a little bit too, nothing like a bird in the east but they run alittle bit.Your dog is very young at 8 months,he'll figure it out with experiance, just keep doin what your doin, :tup:Oh and don't make a huge deal out of it if he won't give it up.

He got lots of praise for getting the bird. His check cord kept getting caught on things so I removed it. After I shot the bird it ran about ten feet before Wiley snatched him up. He was on him fast. Pretty happy with the dog so far and can't wait for this weekend!

Very well said! Only thing that could have been better is if my boy shot it...

Good looking little Brit. What's its breeding? I love the roan.

Sire is Hexter du Hyalite and Dam is Sasses Rubis du treasure. Its a Epagneul Breton, but it has the personality of a American britt and a pink nose instead of a black one like most.
