Thanks to Hauler for all his trail cam pics and help with a really awesome blind. Hauler had notified me of all the deer activity at his property. He set up tons of trail cams and would check them on just about a daily basis. He let me know he had a nice shooter buck and some smaller bucks coming in. My son had never shot a deer before, so we would have been happy with a spike for a first deer. My son and I sat out in the blind for several evenings without seeing a buck and no deer at all on the first evening. Knowing that a few bucks had been in, we weren't discouraged. We had several does come in the second evening which was a good way to pass the time and keep me and my sons interest. On Friday, Hauler got a hold of me and said the big buck hadn't been around for days, so he had a good feeling about that evening. My son and I sat in the blind while hauler sat outside in a brushy area with his video camera in hand to get the 'harvest' shot. Just before dark and after several does came in, the 'one' showed up. Within a matter of a few seconds a shot rang out and the anticipation was over. Thanks again to Hauler for all his work, without him this wouldn't have been possible. Blindpig
