Title: Albino Deer
Post by: Firstlight on October 30, 2008, 04:56:41 PM
Has anyone seen any Albino's this year. Blacktail, Mulie, Whitetail. There has been a couple of them seen in W.C. Years ago in Sudden Valley there was a awsome 3 point that was full albino. I will try to dig up a pic when I get a chance. ;)

used to see a Piebald doe and fawns in Capital Forest.  Saw them two years in a row (new set of fawns second year) in the same spot!

I've seen two. One in Monroe and one in Mount Vernon. But, they both were not 100% white.

Schmalzfam was it about a 2 or 3pt. hanging out with a couple of even nicer bucks somewhere near hoag road and the river?!?! Seen them walking accross the field north of the road towards the river just below the church two years ago. The one I seen was all white though.  Also seen 3 other Albinos couple on whidbey island and 1 up the crown main line.

I heard of one down by the Skagit Riv in the Gardner road area. As for the piebalds, there is lots of them on Orcas Island and San Juan Island. It would cool to have a mount of one. ;)

It was actually on Francis Road in the field of that little white house next to where they built all the new houses. It was a 2pt. buck and it was 2 years ago.

I'm wondering if someone got him because, we haven't seen him since. We saw a nice buck on Francis this year next to the house they have been building..forever, and it was in the trees on the bordering property. I noticed they have been doing some work at the end og Lundgren(?) Road. It goes to the flats at the bottom of where all the new houses are. I am curious to how the deer that are there will react, I figured it would push them up and we would see more. I have seen a nice big buck in the fields down there, last year.

I lived in clear lake for a few years and used francis rd. all the time and never seen one deer, but heard of a handfull of bucks seen on it, and that was the first and last time I seen the albino.
