My buddy gave my 10 year old son a single reed goose call this weekend and taught him a honk. He has been practicing all week and I must admit he is starting to get it. I am a duck hunter and don't know how to teach him. Any suggestions.

Honker talk with Shawn Stahl DVD is always a good starting point.

Scott threinens Bad grammer is probably the best video i have dvd i have seen.. it not only explains how to call it shows how to use the call in certain situations.. also check out his other dvds they talk about decoy placement for field setups different kinds of fields.. great videos and you can order them or buy them from cabelas.
