Hunted the Wynoochee this morning and then headed over to Pioneer creek. 4 Does about 6:10 pm tonight. They didn't move into the clearcut
until last light. No sign of any buck with them. I did see 7 bulls this am though! The biggest one was a 6x6! I have seen a total of 1 buck this year while deer hunting and 10 bulls now. I usually archery hunt elk and modern for deer. No time for Elk this year though...figures..

I'm with you, Nothing to shoot at, I have seen a couple bucks together one just a 2pt and the other was BIG !! at least the shot of him bouncing through the clearcut with a rack as wide as his butt made me think so anyhow but no shot at him and I have been hunting him for the past week and only seen him twice for a total of 1 1/2 seconds :bash:
I guess I'll just have to get him tomorrow or the late buck season !!!

I have only seen 1 buck this hunting season so far. I am pretty glad I shot him otherwise I think I would be eating tag soup.

Logger-Thanks...since I won't be hunting elk this year maybe I will try to call in a bear. Never tried it but I have called in tons of yotes over the years. I will ck it out late season for the BT

I got so tired of bears after awhile i didn't even pay attention to em after awhile polson camp rd. is a short county rd. go to the end it turns into state ground or about halfway down take a right onto the new spur we built it goes into a ton of state ground there is no gate because the dnr forgot to put it in the road specs. LOTS OF BEAR IN THAT AREA. the elk showed up about for about 3 days every three weeks .
