Found a lot of fresh rubs this morning. Problem is, they are just off of the main logging road in a place where a ton of people walk their dogs and take their daily stroll down that road. It's not me hunting, it's my kids. The reprod where the trails go is too thick to have them effectively go into and expect any success. the rubs are too tight to the road to set up anywhere except the roadside which isn't good. I could set up across the road but, then we have our backs to houses and would have to take a shot across a road traveled on foot by a lot of people. :bash: I'll figure it out, I just need some time now. My son and I stood there and looked around for about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to approach it. I do know we are going to take his sheds and rub right over the top of the current rubs and make a couple of new ones this afternoon along with just a small bit of "pissed off territorial buck" pee.

Any trees big enough to get a tree stand up? I bet the walkers would just walk right past you guys.
