The pup and I got out for a day of scrambling and a couple of these guys came home with us. I went to a new place and put up a couple of covies after a few hours of up and down. Not bad for an exploratory trip. This pair was a right and left double on a covey rise at the very lip of the cliffs in the back. I love this time of year.
