More or less a scouting trip but she was sure happy to be out. We saw a handful of ducks flying high. Surprisingly she sat longer than I thought she would.

Awesome!!! I remember those days. Cherish those moments brother.

Love it D...

Awesome Drock! Kids in the blind are fun.
I have a hunting partner that on occasion, based on weather and location will bring his two grandsons out. It's a crack up hearing their chatter on everything that happens. Of course the dog is in the blind and draws their attention as well. Then they inspect every bird we get to make to sure they approve of it. Once in a while my partner has had to run the kids home if it get's uncomfortable for them. Then comes back after taking them home.
Anyways, keep her engaged and make it fun for her. Your making memories for a lifetime and bringing along a future outdoorswoman.

Years of enjoyment head of you, both. Excellent parenting! :IBCOOL:

Your girls are seriously the cutest, these pics are priceless. That's the older one right?
-
Goodness, what a cutie! Hopefully she'll still have that smile after sitting with you in the rain all day. :chuckle:
-
Thats AWESOME!

That is the older one. She lost her first tooth last night too.

Keep'em warm, protect their ears and let'em enjoy the days with you.
Good job!

She will be a better hunter than you. I guarantee you couldn't live-trap chipmunks at her age.

Stang..........wanna give this a shot.....how did a dude as ugly as D-rock manage such lovely children? With your guidance they will become expert trackers....still wish the GoPro was up to the task....that was to funny.
-
Its just a good thing he didn't have boys... they'd grow to 5'1" and look like leprechauns. The only thing they'd be good at hunting is rainbows.

Haters
-
They are just jealous D, ever see h20's kids....dont look like him at all if ya ask me...... :dunno:
-
Hey....we are only hating on you......the little ones are sweet as can be, just like their mother. You can bring them by and the boy can show them Snickers, his new (to him) 6 year old ball python. The girls will love it.
Oh, and Buckmark, hard to replace a good UPS man after you run them off.

Your doing it wrong, free cable is the ticket so you both get something out of it... :chuckle:

In a few years we will all have to plan some kids only hunts together..
-
Sounds like a good plan Buckmark.
-
That would be cool.....the girls will probably out hunt everyone else.

A little off topic then back to it, I have 2 youth 20gauge pump shotties and 3 camo insulated kids sized overalls for you guys to use/borrow if you ever need to...heck one of the overalls might fit D-rock... :chuckle:
-
The shotguns may fit me well too.
-
AWESOME. Love taking my kids. Even just to scout/hunt. Toe & hand warmers hot choco in thermos and donuts. Always happy.
-
Start em young!

Every blind needs someone to keep the dog in check.

That's awesome!! Take the time for those trips as much as you can. I took my daughter out hunting for the first time when she was 6. She is 19 now and we are going after deer in about a week. can't wait!!
