Title: Archery, Late Palouse hunt and Late Muzzeloader property
Post by: YJ Guide Service on October 24, 2013, 08:14:30 AM: We have a few spots open for the Late Palouse hunt, Archery and Late Muzzleloader. Hunt prices are as follows:

Late Palouse rifle hunt three days $650 per person. Two day hunts $550
Late Muzzleloader hunt four days $600 per person. Two day hunt $500
Archery hunts four days for $600. Two day $500. These hunts are unguided but can be guided for $150 more per day. Semi guided hunts are $100 more per person per hunt. If interested let me know we have some very nice whitetail and Mule deer on the farm. Thanks Craig 509-999-0717

Post by: YJ Guide Service on October 31, 2013, 07:05:50 PM: Our late season last year went 90%. Its definitely the time of year when we start seeing the really big bucks start to show up again. Its the season I hunt cause you have a chance at those big whitetails in rut...We have food plots and feeders to hunt over plus winter wheat and alfalfa.

Late Muzzy hunts are $550 for three days and late Turkey is $275 for three days all hunts are unguided but can be arranged to be semi guided or fully guided. Turkey hunts are pretty much a slam dunk with the super large amount of birds we have. The sneak on him was amazing, nothing like spotting him about a mile away and working all the way around to get within 150 yds, including the mule deer that busted out in the draw we used to put the sneak on. For those that might be concerned with buck opportunity, you might break those numbers down. ;)

I had 32 different legal bucks on camera last fall and we only killed 5 of those the rest were from some where else. We have a large number of deer in general and its not uncommon to see 100-200 deer a day out here. Last Sept we had 15 shooter bucks in the field at one time. The guys that hunt the farm come back year after year because of the amount and quality of deer the farm holds. Almost everyone that hunted last year either seen, missed, killed, or passed up bucks.

Post by: huntnfmly on May 19, 2015, 02:38:36 PM: Took daughter and her boyfriend last year for late muzzy seen over a 100 deer a day several shooters . Seen the biggest whitetail we've ever seen but couldn't get a ethical shot. We blew a few stalks and passed some up.well worth the money. Craig is a great guy and very helpful.I'm taking my nephew this year I would of taken daughter again but I sat on the pit to long and Craig was booked up

Post by: GrainfedMuley on May 22, 2015, 07:40:17 AM: I personally have been hunting the ranch since the mid 90's. I know the land owner very well. I met Craig in the field a couple of times. He is the only one that knows the ranch better than I do. I have seen deer in every nook and cranny on every part of the ranch. There is deer sign literally every where you go. I remember a few years ago, in one wheat field, late afternoon, I counted 86 head of deer. 6 bucks and 4 were shooters. There are certain areas where the muleys hang out and certain areas for whities. A lot of times you will see both muleys and whities feeding in the same field.
