Title: when are muskrat worth trapping?

Post by: bob maier on November 02, 2013, 03:00:44 PM: I wouldn't Wait until thanksgiving trapping eastern wa rats, I've been froze out by then in years past. I prefer open water trapping. Guys are trapping rats right now and those rats will sell. Granted not fully prime but they will sell as fall rats. Choice is yours a lot of variables involved, weather, do you have time now and not later, do you like chopping ice etc.
