Title: boat blind material
Post by: KB88 on November 07, 2013, 07:57:02 AM
I built my own boat blind and used Hunters specialties die cut 54"x30' material. After one season its shrunk, ripped and is basically garbage. Anyone recommend any other material that will hold up a little better and maybe not fly around so much on windy days??

I had the same issue with the cheap marsh grass from cabelas, installed it last year and its falling apart now.

I used the same die cut camo netting on my boat blind BUT I also used outdoor plastic woven fabric I found at lowes.  It's the work horse for the blind material.  Everything attaches to it.  So far I've been more than happy with it.

You can see the fabric behind my pup.

I spray painted it when I installed it a few years ago.  The paint has held up really well even.  ( sorry I don't know why my pictures are turned sideways)
