Title: Suburban Area (Town) Bucks
Post by: huntnphool on November 07, 2013, 03:53:09 PM
With all these different threads popping up I thought it would be cool to have one thread where we could post up all the "Town" bucks we are all seeing.

Here is one from today in Tacoma.

There was a 3x3 blacktail munching under my apple trees this morning, but I'm just on that suburban/rural boundary.  The does are here most days.  So far I have had a 4x5 with eyeguards, a couple of 3x3s some forkies and at least tow spikes (one with an antler broken off).

My backyard bucks must have been off chasing girls. Haven't seen them in a month. Looked outside today and there they were.

I was down in Pendleton Oregon the other morning and pulled into Starbucks for a coffee.  There was a huge 4 point standing in front of the starbucks sign.    Would have been a good photo if there had been some daylight.  I was surprised of the caliber of deer.  He certainly would have met the criteria for a "Star BUCK"

Here's a few I found somewhere...sometime.....that I may or may not chase around with a sharp stick.

Nice!  Sometimes you take a great buck and put him in a backyard and he just doesn't look all that majestic.  This one looks like he'd eat out of your hand.  Wish I had one in my backyard.
