Title: Hope n' Prayers needed
Post by: Wolfdog2314 on November 07, 2013, 07:57:39 PM: My uncles plane went down on the way in to a remote wilderness hunt in Idaho yesterday morning. His good buddy also with him, and pilot. East of McCall. Heading in to the Frank Church River of No Return. Bad weather currently. Going in to the second night.

The problem is, those ELT signals bounce all over. I've seen them indicate a downed plane miles from the actual plane. Even sometimes in the opposite direction! Still, I hope for a good outcome.

Helicopter sighted what appears to be a downed airplane.

But as you said they died doing what they loved. Same attitude my buddies have. They know the risk. Can't discourage those we love from chasing their dreams.
