Title: Upland bird hunting areas close to Wenatchee?
Post by: ducks55 on November 04, 2008, 05:55:18 PM: Does anyone know of a good spot for upland birds around the valley? I have tried Bluegrade, not any luck there.

Go up Downey Rd towards Lake Chelan or the Flats below the tunnel to the lake has some public land.

Tarpiscan also holds some birds.

You could look towards the Quincy Wildlife Area. It used to hold more birds than it does now but there are some there.

I went up Bluegrade road last week and saw a fish and wildlife sign saying feel free to hunt, but then also saw signs indicating private property. I haven't heard yet from others if it is open to hunt or not. I will probably post my own question about it.
