I saw 6 different bucks over the weekend in 124 and only 1 was rutting hard. The others were acting like a typical skittish whitetail.

I'd look up and follow Dbhawthorne's rut report thread

I hunt 127 and the land owner who gives me permission to hunt his property called yesterday to tell me three bucks were chasing a doe out in one of the fields. Two small bucks and a nice 5X5. I'd say you'll be in there by the Monday opener if not half the way through. I normally have plenty of action until December rolls around, then everything starts to simmer down until nothing.
Good luck to ya

That's good news "Expedition Scout"!
Yesterday my hunting partner sent me a pic that he snapped on his way down the hill the live on of a DANDY 5x5!
Hopefully the rut trickles into next week!
Leaving in 71 minutes!!
Happy Hunt'n!!

I think you'll have no problem going into next week. Normally the beginning of December is the slow down. Post your picture when you're done.
Good luck and shoot straight

Been watching for two days now. Seeing deer, not a whole bunch of "chasing" IMHO.

Just picked up my trail camera. Today was the first day of non-stop buck movement almost every hour past my stand. Mostly small bucks in the 100" category, but I had bucks moving all day long.
Give it a few more days and the big boys will be moving in to show the juniors how it's done.
Last year on opening morning, I sat from dawn till 1pm (HAD TO GO!!) and counted 14 different bucks that day chasing.
