Can you shoot a collard deer/elk?yes you can but just something to think about here because I shot a bear with one a few years back. If it was collard in the last 60 days they tell you not to eat it at least they did me with the bear. Just something to think about I would hate to kill an elk and not be able to eat it. It would be a complete waste.

Yes sir. We had a lot of collared elk around my folks old place and they told us its because of the tranquilzers and how long it takes to cleanse from their system and from the meat.

The one on the left next to the tree looks like a deer to me. But I have old eyes.
