I'm looking for some opinions on treestand camo in late archery. I use King's mountain shadow in the hunts when there's green, but most of the trees I'm in are mostly bare come Nov/Dec. I managed my 1st Washington archery buck this year, but made many mistakes. Looking to get a heater body suit to stay warm, as I froze my butt off! Will be moving my stands around too, as I did a poor job with the wind. These mountain whitetails are a bunch smarter than those farm bucks!

Outfitter Brown Berber fleece from Cabela's, it blends into most tree trunks amazingly well and it's very warm. My hunting partner turned me onto it and I've stayed warm every since....bonus it's cheep.

I used KUIU verde camo for my tree stand hunt this year. Take a look...it is surprising how well it works in the field.

Thanks, I thought more people hunted out of stands up there. Guessed wrong.....

This looks good:
It's called New Xtra Camo, maybe without new by now.

By far and away Predator Grey! If you look up into the trees from down low late season when the leaves are off you see a lot of light or white from the sky and clouds. Predator grey has a lot of white in it and hands down is the best tree stand camo I've found. They make some late season stuff in fleece now as well.

Natural Gear makes a good late season camo. Plus, Scent Locs "Vertigo Grey" is really good if you are in a tree late season. the other option has already been mentioned, Predator Grey.
Good Luck,

I really like the Predator camo, they just don't make anything warm. It's very cold up on my hunting place (20 to -10) this year. That's why I was looking at those body heat suits, the problem is the camo patterns suck for late season. I'm liking the input, thanks! Need to try to stay in the stand all day to kill an old buck! I'll look into Natural Gear too.

look up Native Species in Vertigo Grey on Amazon. I haven't used them, but they have some insulated coveralls and parkas.
