Skunked in a frozen and frosty Sunnyside, we moved up to Royal City and bagged some quail.
The shotgun was my grandpa's that he'd bought out of a Sears catalog YEARS ago. This was my first hunt with it.

Great Pics! Is all of that water in the Royal City spot you hunted?

We were down in the Lower Crab Creek area but no luck. Othello was all frozen up. We got lucky with one rooster.

Both panoramic images are from Sunnyside. The flooded road was all frozen, crystal clear, but solid as a rock!!
The rooster was first of 5 birds that day by the Royal City power lines.

Very Nice! I too hunt with my grandfather's old scatter gun...a Remington 11-48 sportsman 16 bore...that gun is priceless.

The kids and I just passed through Royal City this afternoon to find a safe spot to hunt. We are unfamiliar with the area and were not able to find anywhere to hunt. We are staying the night tonight (sat) in Othello.
Hoping to try to hunt tomorrow...where are some spots we can try? Thanks.

a little late here.... but head south from the road cafe "De-Lish" and you'll find a huge wildlife area.
