I've been scouting my late archery area the last couple weekends and had been seeing increased deer activity, then I went in yesterday to check it out after the heavy rains and saw no new sign at all. Was the rain heavy enough to put them down? I wouldn't think so, should be peak rut right now. I was thinking that perhaps a buck has moved off the does I was seeing and might have moved them out of the area :dunno: Might be a lean season for me this year.
