Title: My first cougar!
Post by: Archery King on December 24, 2013, 04:53:09 PM: Gave this 100 lbs Tom a snow nap at 100 yards as he ran away from me today. 50 gr v-max out of the 22-250 right to the back of the neck. Out coyote hunting and and came across him sitting in the grass. Not much of a story, but I'm jacked to have my first cat!

I want one so bad but for the life of me I just cant make it happen. The hard part is when I hear the stories of guys that do kill them, it always goes like this; I was just walking in a the damn thing was just standing there. Way to go and happy for you and all the deer in the surrounding area

I honestly almost feel guilty for getting this one so easy, but that being said I have spent many of hours and days in the woods looking for these elusive cats. So I guess all I can say is you can't ever plan on killing a cougar just keep getting out in those woods!!! I shot the cat in 133
