Post by: BOWHUNTER45 on December 26, 2013, 02:41:23 PM
Just some good eats after that Christmas Day Dinner ...

Reuben Sandwich ...anyone ?

left over Prime Rib
Dill Rye Bread
Sauerkraut
Provolone Cheese or whatever you like  :dunno: :chuckle:
1000 Island dressing

Grill your (buttered bread) on one side only .... once you grill one side place on a plate with the grilled side up ....grill your meat lightly and the sauerkraut ..once you heat up the meat and kraut ...place the meat on the bread with the kraut and the cheese ....then butter the other piece of bread with the buttered side up and slap on the grill ...you can then butter the side of bread that is now facing up as it is grilling ..flip both sides until done .....JUST ATE ONE !!! :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I couldn't conceive of messing with the perfection that is a Reuben recipe, but that looks pretty good.  We did prime rib french dips, then steaks on the grill, then BBQ prime rib sandwiches with the rib meat.  Yum!

:yeah:  Prime rib is prime rib and a Reuben is a reuben and never the twain shall meet.
