So from what I have been told mossback has a local who does/does not work for them.  (Depends on who you talk too) and they have the rights to pictures.. kind of confusing stuff.  Not really sure what I believe. . Great bulls though

That may(or may not) be the case...but Mossback and their local (non?)employee had nothing at all whatsoever with Mr. Carpinito's bull.

The Carpinito auction tag hunt was done under Tucannon Outfitters permit and defenitely had zero connection with Team Mossback   Appreciate the positive comments on a great bull and happy hunter.

Great bulls for sure, but all this who guided who, who has picture rights, was a (non)  Mosscrack employee involved takes so much away from it all.  Congrats again on great bulls but ive said it before, I would rather see Bone post "on the hoof" pics for us to enjoy rather than have to sift through all the stories to wonder what actually went down.

Do a google search "klumper bull elk".  Click the link to the Facebook page.  Looks to me that the locals that helped/located these bulls do have ties to Mossback as it says "Thanks to Mossback Guides Nick Kincaid and Josh Teal.

Of course they do.  People will sit back a deny the obvious but whether these guys are direct employees or at least used as "eyes in the sky," they all are tied together at some point.  Its like the year that Reichert killed his last bull.  Everyone was all jacked up about it then a couple years later it comes to head that Jon Wick was hired illegally and there was proof of a plane/helicopter used to locate the bull.  Im not saying by any means that Klumper or Carpinito did anything what so ever illegal because I don't believe they did at all, Im just making the point that there is always more to a story than what meets the eye.

These rich old guys are no doing it by themselves by any means, there are spending thousands of dollars just like they did to buy the tag to make sure that they kill a great bull with their great tags :twocents:

It takes allot of money and/or allot of luck to consistently kill HUGE bulls. If they choose to hire Mossback or whomever, that's their choices. Only thing that I cant stand is illegal "guides" and guys that lie and are unethical men. Don't hate guys that kill huge bulls just because they hire guides or spotters, because we all know if you had their money, you would do the same thing.
I didn't want to start a bash-fest here, just love seeing pics of huge bulls hitting the dirt, and not in high fenced game farms. Thanks for sharing pics and stories guys.

The hunting community is actually pretty small, so if guys are "guiding" illegal, word will get out. Just like I have been having guys contacting me telling me they want to guide for me and all they do is lie and pump me for information. Their names and reputation precedes them and we all probably know the guys that are guilty of this. Anyhow, nice bulls guys and thanks for sharing.

I agree on half of what you said.  If I had the money they do, I would not do the same thing.  I am all for the purchasing of Gov tags or Raffle tags, and if I had the money, I would love to buy such a tag.  Although I would never hire a crew of guys to locate a bull for me, period.  I am not bashing them what so ever, hiring guides is completely legal and to each their own.  But you are wrong in saying that I would do the same because I wouldn't.  Every day I go out I want to kill the biggest animal on the mountain but I realize that at the end of the day it is hunting. 50 years down the road when I am looking at my animals on the wall, I want to know that I did that and not a crew of Mossbacks that were bought and paid for.  I realize that with this mindset I may never kill a true giant, but I don't need a 400 inch bull that bad.
