Title: Post your pics, Worst/funniest taxidermy
Post by: actionshooter on December 28, 2013, 08:25:11 PM: I have seen some downright ugly taxidermy, to the point its just funny. Some of it is old, or just intentional. Post up your pics, I thought this could be a fun thread.
This is NOT a taxidermist bashing thread, if you have an issue with a taxi, leave their name out of it.

I'll start, found this on a trip through Canada earlier in the year.

She purchased it at an auction in Idaho. Bucky and I are going to have a lot of fun by the highway on modern deer season opener.

This mount was an auction item at the benefit for Adam of Titan Outdoors in Olympia.
It had a deer cape, bull rack, bear teeth and crazy eyes.

I don't know who the guy is but he runs with the local country musician Jonathan Harris.

Yes was very hard to not just leave it there and walk away. I am so grateful for this site and for finding your shop. What a world of difference. And I would t even put those in the house, in fact I took them to work and hung in our break room just to get rid of them!

Amen to that. I also noticed several items there that were likely illegal to sell. Ship it across state lines and its a federal offense (Lacey Act). Even if it looked good, I'd never consider buying taxidermy on ebay.

My mom was less than pleased to see that come home... it hangs in the garage.
