-
Congrats. I like the color.
-
Great looking Bear! Does he have Black guard hairs and reddish under wool?
-
Congrats on the bear looks like a dandy
-
Nice bear Ruger. I guess the worm has turned for you. You aren't the same hunter you were a few days ago. Take care of the meat & it will rival venison. It won't taste like venison but it will be as good. You think a deer can smell you, well the bear is at least as good. The rascal won't stop & look back; once he decides to run, he runs. Good job. Welcome to the bear cult.

Nice looking bear...where abouts did you shoot him?
-
i dont think i could have waited for 4 days. he's a good looking bear.

Great Bear! Congratulations and thanks for sharing!!
-
we need more details on that one what a great color of hide.
-
Awsome bear! Did you make a rug or something out of him?
-
my dad showed me the video. it was pretty cool. how far did it end up rolling down the hill? from what i could tell, the hill looked like it was pretty steep the whole way down. which looked liked a LONG ways down there.
-
Great color on that bear! nice job
-
He rolled about 600 yards down the hill. Which was plenty to justify the language you heard on the video.
The video shows a little too much backround to post on here for others to enjoy.
damn. too bad you couldn't have brought the hide out. thats a very nice bear. i hope that the skull is still there when you go back. the hides of both of my bears are still in the freezer. after our house is finished being built i will know what our budget will be like and hopefully i can afford to get a rug and a live size mount. and i understand why you cant post the vid. i wouldnt want give up my sweet spot either. congrats on your first bear though!
-
no im gonna have a taxidermist do the bear. but i think me and him might do my bobcat. hopefully its not freezer burnt
