Take care of the meat & it will rival venison. It won't taste like venison but it will be as good. You think a deer can smell you, well the bear is at least as good. Post by: tony04 on March 03, 2009, 08:18:04 PM: my dad showed me the video. it was pretty cool. how far did it end up rolling down the hill? from what i could tell, the hill looked like it was pretty steep the whole way down. which looked liked a LONG ways down there.

damn. too bad you couldn't have brought the hide out. thats a very nice bear. i hope that the skull is still there when you go back. the hides of both of my bears are still in the freezer. after our house is finished being built i will know what our budget will be like and hopefully i can afford to get a rug and a live size mount. and i understand why you cant post the vid. i wouldnt want give up my sweet spot either. congrats on your first bear though!
