They have finally arrived. :IBCOOL: The rain ha finally given me enough water to hunt over and brought the birds as well. P.s. I shot like dog poo today (far worse than normal) and still managed a limit. Why do all the birds come when I'm out there by myself instead of when I take my dad out to show him a good time  :bash:

That's how it is with me. I go by myself and slay them. Take others along and don't get much.

Good hunt

They showed up good a few weeks back, but started using new fields heavy this week.  Spreading out good with all the rain.

H20, sorry to be blunt. But you have no idea where I hunt. How could you possibly know when birds are showing up in my area?:dunno: A few weeks back I literally saw 0 birds. But what do I know, I only hunt 4 days a week.

What was wrong with H2O's comment?  :dunno:
I have experienced the same thing. They showed up a few weeks ago.
Good limit, I'm glad you had a great day!

I think what h20fowler is trying to say is that if you think the birds just "finally" showed up then you are hunting the wrong spots.   Large numbers of Mallards have been all over western WA for several weeks but they have only been spreading out with the recent warm, wet, weather.

Don't get excited. I think h20fowler's comment was more of a generalization regarding the migrators' arrival. I see nothing wrong with it.
