Title: ANY ONE USE RAINER TAXIDERMY

Second, if you expect to get your mount back from him in a little over a year you are kidding yourself and thirdly, my guess is that you left incoherent messages (much like your post) and they either couldn't understand them or you are lying about the number of times that you called them. You did more to help his business than hurt his business by posting that. :chuckle: I would take the recommendations of long time members on here than a troll showing up to bash a good guy and a quality business on his first post.

His work is hands down excellent I have a bobcat that is taking awhile longer then normal but every time I call him he answers. I have never had someone not answer their phone during normal business hours and for that matter weekend and late in the evenings included. I also have had deer heads mounted over 15 years ago that look just like the ones he finishes this month. His work is great... time is longer then most but I know I can expect perfect work.

We have had some businesses on here torn to shreds, but they generally earn their reputations for a reason. I do not think this is or will be the case here.

I have found that if you are making payments regularly, that will help get your mount back sooner. You have to realize that process takes alot of tiime, and if you rush any of it, you will be able to tell in the finised mount. I have a 3 pt BT they did for me 20 yrs ago, and it still looks great.

My guess is that you left a nasty message and got put to the back of the line. They always have work going on there and are busy, but my stuff has always been around a year give or take a little. The owner is very serious about his business, but also the kind of guy that is not going to sit there and take crap then kiss your behind in my opinion.

I agree, but for a different reason. I think this is great advertising for Rainier Taxidermy with all of the responses. This will slow down my next project there with his increase in business.

Anyone that searches this is going to find that this taxidermist is well liked and has been established and has met everyones expectation except a one time poster. heck, even testimony about mounts lasting for years. I have some(from a different taxidermist) that I thought were great but deterioted several years afterwards. All good to hear about this business. Businesses live and die on the internet now. Its our policy to keep it as transparent as possible. I think I see a clear picture with this thread.

My family has been taking our mounts to Zach for 20 years. He has always been polite and great to work with. I also know I will get a quality product back even though it will be gone for a long time. When he used to mount small game, fish and big game it would take close to 2 years. Now he will mostly only do big game and I still expect it to take awhile. I don't mind waiting for a buck that will look life like and have a neck that is as large as when I shot it.

On a side note, I personally don't care to eat wildgame that has been processed by a butcher because most don't take the time to remove fat and white tissues=nasty game taste. I took a tour of the butcher shop at Rainier Tax. and they butcher wild game properly by deboning and removing white tissues and fat.

Zach cares about giving a quality product whether it is a mount, rug or butchering and I respect that. I would definately like it done sooner, but o'well if it doesn't, I know I am getting the best!

After seeing all the compliments on this tread to Rainier Tax., I called him and let him know about this post and the support he was getting.

I think if you research Hunter 111, you might find that he doesn't have the greatest respect for our beloved game animals and harvesting guidelines/laws.

Hunter111 also needs to realize that if you don't pay your bills, then the work doesn't get completed.

how dare you trash talk zach with the rainier taxidermy like that you should be ashamed to even have the nerve to get on here and spread lies about such an honest and good guy. i first handedly know you are lieing 100%. i have known zach my whole life were neighbors and i grew up with his kid. he does beautiful work and if he is home he answers his phone. the only money you put on your mount was $30 and that was not until november. you cannot expect to pay not pay at all then finally drop off a little bit of money and expect your mount done. plus i was there when you brought in your Tiny blacktail spike that you gut shot left the Sh!t sack in it along with chucks off stomach all over the meet. the thing was so rotton he could not even hang it in the freezer with the rest, if i were zach i would of turned you in for pretty much wasting game. then after he called you to come and get it you still blew HIM off for a couple days and tried having your buddy come get it telling your friend you have no clue what he is talking about and that it was a big 3 point blacktail with a perfect heart shot :bdid: how you have your own guide system still has me puzzled and in dis belief. :bash:

there you go my fellow hunt wa friends that is my whole honest to god vent. :sry: sorry i went off just cant sit back and watch a good family friend get bashed and lied about by such a low life

I've been useing Zach for at least 10 years or more, couldn't be more pleased to have him doing my work. He is one of the best, and the only reason I don't say he is the best is because I havn't seen Charlies, Nature's Way or other reputable taxi's on this site work. Great guy, it does take time and he's always trying to improve on that but I didn't mind, it gave me time to pay off the mounts. I need to take a six pack of miller lights soon to sit down and talk with him! As for the OP, it seems you word don't mean much. Thanks guys for backing up a good guy!! :tup:
