Title: Small cougar down
Post by: Blsum on January 22, 2014, 08:01:15 PM
Not much of a story here. She ran across the road while I was taking a buddy to try and fill his tribal tags. She ran up the hill and stopped to look back to see what I was doing. By then it was to late. She is by no means the biggest cat in the woods but she's my first.

after a few deer she'd grow up , good job. BTW you may want to check tribal regs I know most tribe do not allow hunting with no tribal members .I know the muck warden tickets them for it . just an fyi

Thanks coach I will look into that. She was collared by the tribe about two months ago. We got a hold of the guy who collared her and meet up with him so he could take the collar off. He just so happened to be the cousin of the guy I was with. I knew those collars were not cheap but I didn't know they where in the range of 8k. Needless to say they were happy to get it back.
