Title: Colorado Elk Hunting Guides
Post by: jstone on January 24, 2014, 10:50:54 AM
Could i get information from anybody on here on good guides or ranches in colorado with good elk populations? Been thinking about going on a good elk and maybe deer hunt in 2015 archery. But i want action. If i don't get anything cause of missed opportunities that is fine, but would like action. Any Ideas please.

I think it all depends on how much you are willing to spend :) the more you spend the better your chances. You can do a drop camp for anywhere from $1500 to $3000, or an average guided hunt for around $5000 but if you want the ranches you see Primos and those folks hunt you are probably looking at anywhere from $8 to $10,000.

Once you qualify what your price range is I think folks can probably provide you more help and guidance.

Wish I could afford to do it. Maybe once both kids are out of college :)

On another thread here, Rich Botta seems to be the "go to" man when it comes to Colorado hunting.
