So I was able to get out these last two days. Saturday ended up being a mostly teal shoot with a pair of nice greenheads. We were done by 930!
Sunday was just as good. We ended up shooting a mixed bag. I think we got every puddle duck that we get on the wetside. We had teal, wigeon, gadwall, pintail, and greenheads. To top of the morning and finish the hunt we doubled on teal and she decided that she wanted to bring both back at the same time. Great season, already counting down till next year.

Labs are efficiency experts...two ducks for one retrieve leaves more time to be petted in the blind...

Congrats! Better than my last day. I ended up with a single Pintail drake. Was that on the Island?

Yes it was on Island (south of the island). Our little honey hole ;)
