Title: thumb hole stocks
Post by: widgeonwacher on February 04, 2014, 07:23:54 PM: so I've been looking at some thumb hole stocks for my 870 and i want one that's camo but i don't know which one to get :dunno: :dunno:......you guys go any ideas because i was looking forward to getting one before this turkey season

Post by: Karl Blanchard on February 05, 2014, 08:13:39 PM: I put the shurshot (?) thumbhole on mine last season and couldn't be happier. Tames the recoil considerably as well as very comfortable when holding for long call setups. Well worth the $90 or whatever I paid for it (can't remember).

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on February 05, 2014, 09:42:33 PM: I recently got a thumbhole stock for my 10-22 from Boyd's. Saw in their catalog that they make 870 stocks, too. Can't remember if they are thumbhole or not, but they have a website. Good place to start. They sure make some pretty stocks.

I have been looking myself. I cant find anything anywhere.

I like it! Except we might have to flip a coin on who is shooting because we both know which is more fun! :tup:
