For the fourth year running, I want another rifle at the Rocky Mountain elk foundation dinner in Vancouver last night. It's a Ruger 10/22 stainless. I've wanted one of these for some time, so was the perfect win. It was the mystery wagon raffle.

Was it a Ruger 10/22?

please explain what a mystery wagon raffle is? we are looking for a new game in the moses lake rmef banquet. our banquet is always the first Saturday in feb. this year we had 11 guns up for grabs. I am going to suggest a raspberry ruger for a game next year or maybe a purple one. it would pump up the ladies. over the years I have won 3 guns, but if I bought them at cost I would have enough money left over to buy a new atv. but it is a lot of fun and for a great cause, that is why we put in a lot of hours into rmef stuff. mike w

The mystery wagon is a nice wooden wagon filled with wrapped presents. Most of the presents are things like a pack of work gloves, a sign for a hunting cabin, fleeces, with one big prize. The .22 was the big prize. There were about 20 or so wrapped gifts in all.

Congratulations and thanks for spending money to support conservation.

Most expensive .22 on the planet! :chuckle: :chuckle:

I hope I can have as much luck as you this Saturday at the north sound banquet.
-
I hope so, too DR! I hope you get pick of the auction.
-
That would be sweet. I forked out the extra cash this year I put myself on the sponsor board. Should probably have my best odds to win a gun on that. I've won 2 in the last 4 years so it hasn't been to bad.
-
I went to a ducks unlimited banquet and there was a guy that won 3 guns in one night, that was cool. I don't ever win anything.
-
I have won 3 rifles and 1 pistol in the last three years plus 2500 worth of certificates at the national WSF show in Reno
