I am being bombarded with advertising on Hunt Wa , how do I get rid of them
-
Bombarded? Like ad headers above the threads you are reading?

Maybe you have a virus?

thinking you have a virus or trojan ... huntwa doesn't have pop ups
-
No Pop Ups here. Ever.... :dunno:
-
I been running virus scan program to see if that fixes the problem, wishing I was more computer savvy.
-
No sir. I have never had a popup here. :dunno:

Looks like you've got adware on your machine. Install the free version of this and run it.

Let me know if that works, otherwise, there are others to try too. Is your firewall on?
-
Dan you must have a virus or Trojan on your computer. I dislike popup ads and have no plans of ever having any connected with H-W.

Your browser should have a pop up blocker.

malwarebytes is the best free scanning tool out there. Better than most paid programs.

I was having the same issue about a month ago. Go to your list of programs and check the recently added. I do not remember the name, but once I deleted the added program the problem was resolved. It's not a virus so you will not catch it by scanning. I had downloaded some software for photo editing and this was attached. I had the pop ups on this site only. Hope this works for you.

Thanks Guys, all is good today thanks to TJs link, I think the issue was in some photo editing programs I downloaded, I still haven't found a good water mark program

Do you know what you downloaded that this was attached to? I think mine came from the go pro editing program. I didn't try the malware. Good to know it worked. I ran several tools trying to find the issue before I found the problem myself.

I'm not exactly sure witch program contained the bug, I down loaded a few different free photo editing programs, I deleted all but one U mark, that one works but its nothing special, cant get images to load, just lettering, all I need is a decent water mark for my pictures
-
WINRAR is bad about adding additional software in their 'free' downloads.
-
I'm getting the something after downloading one of the apps below for the HW site. And they are on all sites now.
Examples
