Got my rotisserie out and put a pork shoulder on it.I will probably do some roasted potatoes and some kind of vegetable dish to go with it. :drool:

With an open burner do you worry about fires? Or am I over thinking it :dunno:

You may be over thinking it ;) No i have never worried about it. That rotisserie is older than i am and my family has been using them as far back as i can recall from their stories. :tup: It is one of my favorite ways to cook.

My ex in-laws used one just like it to make prime rib roasts. Those rotisserie's do an awesome job. The whole house would smell of roast by the end of the day. By the time it was done, everyone was chomping at the bit to get at the roast. Your pork shoulder looks just as good. :drool: :drool:

I have a rotisserie almost identical, they are awesome. I love throwing a prime rib roast or something on there and smelling up the whole house on a winter day. In the summer I use the Traeger more but in the winter I cant resist pulling the rotisserie out and setting it up on the bar and getting the mop bucket out for those little trails of drool that begin to appear around the house.
