I hunt Whitetail in that part of the state,  seen the "influx" of wolves over just a few years,  but after talking with the "locals" the consensus is they have come from Canada and the Panhandle areas.

Coming across a "fresh" kill will become easier over time.  Depending on what time of year that footage was taken that calf could be just a week old or less.

I whole heartily agree, the people of the west side, especially in housing developments, NEED their fair share of the pest!!  Share and share alike!!
