Took some pictures of some goats roaming the hillside out on Mt. Si. Pretty kewl
Quality is tough because at that range and zoom you have to be really solid on the tri-pod and it was a little shaky but you can definitely see them.

Neat to see them there. Thanks for sharing. My mother thinks I'm weird with my spotting scope in her backyard.
-
Thanks Jack-
Just startin to kinda tinker with the digi-thing and when i can get the tripod stable, i will shoot some good quality pics.....hopefully 8)
The goats up there are really cool..I drop the wife ant Nike town and hit the back roads

Must of had a pretty power full camera lens I know you didn't hick up there lol nice pix
-
Thanks Brother-
Yea I had my video camera stuck to the backend of my spotting scope and pulled those "stills" off the video. Those goats are probably 800 to 1,000 away and out of some pretty steep stuff. If I was more off to the side of them you could see slope but trust me when i tell ya, it would be harnesses and lines to hang out where they're hangin out as one wrong move could be your last.
Cool to see um though

this is what I was doing last weekend

Very cool.
Not often that they show their face up there in the open country without getting a ways off the beaten path.
Thanks for sharing!!

Good pics. They are nice to see. Be good if we could get a herd going healthy up there.
-
They say their is about 50 goats on Si, there must be some real trophys up there since you cant hunt them, Ive seen a herd of 12 up there once
-
That's so cool to see them there. Ive seen them every do often in the 20 years I spent growing with the Snoqualmie tree farm as my family's hunting grounds. My dad and uncle always tell me about seeing herds up there all the time back in the 60s and 70s
