Still makes me physically ill to think about it one year later.  This site just isn't the same without him.

I still shed a tear every time I hear a Chopper; today at work we had a UH-1 working Renton Field. It reminds me of all the buddies lost in Viet Nam and our Captain.  :salute:

I can't believe he has been gone a year already.
I never had a chance to meet Aaron face to face. I loved his passion that he brought into every conversation.
Just look at the impact his presence here has had before and after his passing.
He left a legacy,
What more can a man ask for?

I also thought about this yesterday and reflected on my feelings. Although I never met Aaron, you feel like you know people when you read  and interact with them about things they are passionate about. My son and I visit Aaron's resting place in Medical lake veterans cemetery often, we pray for the family he left behind.

I can't watch the Budweiser Commercial about the soldier coming home without thinking of the Blanchards and all the other families who have and are going through the same thing.  Makes me tear up everytime it comes on.
