Title: Upland birds up Bluegrade in East Wenatchee?
Post by: wakewen on November 25, 2008, 12:09:38 PM
I was up bluegrade road in East Wenatchee last week and saw signs that said private property along with another sign from the Fish and Wildlife Dept. saying that it was an Upland game restoration (Feel free to hunt).  So is this area open or not?  Is it a mix of private (keep out) and public (feel free to hunt)?  Thanks for your help.

If the "Feel Free to Hunt" signs are up then it is open. But to know exactly where the boundaries are you will probably need a good map. The best bet would be a DNR Public Lands Map for that area, or log on the the "Go Hunt" map on the WDFW website.

Tried the Go Hunt site, but thought it was too vague to understand where the lines are.  Thanks.

I'd just get a general idea from the maps, and hunt behind the Feel Free to Hunt signs, until you come to other signs that say you can't hunt, or trespass. A GPS unit is handy in these situations.
