I am wondering if there is something wrong with it's back leg. Just looks very stiff or something. I would guess that it would run very awkward.

I doubt anything is wrong. He obviously knows something is up and either smells you or the cam. More like a display of dominance and it looks like he is spraying piss before scent marking the tree.

He probably hasn't taken a dump in 3 or 4 months! How would you be walking? :chuckle:

Maybe next time he will use Charmin like all the other bears. :chuckle: :chuckle:

Yeah, looks like he has a bad case of butt itch.

Looks like he is walking around his junk. :chuckle:
I walk like that when I have been hunting for two weeks. :yike:

Yes, I think he has a problem with the left rear leg, probably at the hip joint (not at the knee). But he was clearly able to stand on his rear legs, so it can't be that bad.
Still a legal bear, in my opinion.

About a week ago I had one bear chasing another near this area on camera. I thought maybe this might be the result of a tussle between them?

His back legs are gigged up for sure. Right rear let is nearly locked up. Cool video Woodman!

Arthritis kicking in from a old bullet injury.

Or from just being a big old fart of a bear!
You don't get a noggin like that until you've put some years on those legs. May not weigh a ton, but he's a dandy!
