Title: WA Lion Harvest Quota Status

Chelan: 1 female or 4 total cats remain
Okanogan: 2 females or 9 total cats
Ferry/Opens 1 Jan: 4 females or 10 total cats
Stevens/Pend Oreille: 4 females or 11 total
Klicitat: Harvest is closed, pursuit only

The number left, ie, in Chelan (4) means, 4 more may be taken before the GMU is closed? Male or female?

Post by: Machias on November 26, 2008, 10:02:31 PM: They can take 4 toms, or 1 female and then it's pursuit season only. However once the female is taken the harvest is over, it then becomes pursuit only.

i hope they start giving out wolf tags within the next few years before they rape the elk and deer populations like they did in Yellowstone.
