Title: Looking for Muzzleloader deer hunting partner(s)
Post by: bigbds61 on May 15, 2014, 01:06:07 PM: I am finally going to give the muzzleloader a try for deer this year since I got drawn for the multi-season deer tag. I am not too familiar with any decent muzzleloader areas and have been mostly a modern firearm deer (Colville area) and elk hunter (Yakima/Ellensburg area) for the last 20 years. I did archery for 10 years before that in the Blue Mts. I can offer a fully equipped camp either wall tent or RV or both. I prefer hunting out of my wall tent if it is an extended trip and probably RV for weekend trips due to the fast set up. Anyone that is interested in connecting this fall PM me.

Post by: syoungs on May 20, 2014, 10:31:31 AM: I havent pegged down a spot for early season yet, but wouldnt mind sharing camp, most likely we will be in a travel trailer, trying to stay withitn 2.5 hours from kennewick.

Keep in touch as the season gets closer syoungs. I am solo at this point so would enjoy sharing camp with someone.

vandman17. This will be my 1st year ever with the smoke pole but have hunted for over 40 years with modern or archery so I am not too familiar with the areas open for muzzy.

There are some good ones not far from where I live so that is where I will spend my weekends unless I get drawn for a permit.
