I am still new to this sight!! Because I still have no kill pic's...YET!! That is. I have never had so much trouble getting in to elk late season!! I know its the weather that is all wrong and not what I am use to. I hunt west side and this time of year there is normaly snow up high and there is not! So long story short they are not where they should be....Driv'n myself crazy!!! :bash: I have been a long time hunter here on the west side...I lost most of all my pic's in a house fire so I cant share them with you....But I still have the memories. Out of everything that we lost its always the family and adventure pics that are most lost...Dont want to turn this in to a CRY ME A RIVER story....sorry Any info on how they act when the weather out side is'nt frightful!! Thanks so much

off the main road and the hunting pressure and in the dark timber far far from other people, you have my number..........

Just spent the last 4 days in 506 up Grays Valley. Walked up an old washed out road about a mile and found some decent sign. Glassed hard from good vantage points away from people but was unable to put my glasses on a single elk. Not sure what to do this time of year, I might try slow stalking through the timber in the area I found fresh sign but it's so thick I dont think I would be able to get within bow range. Obviously frustrated and could use some help as well
