Anywhere west of PA and north of Forks and east of Sequim and north of Brinnon. Basically the northern third of the Olympic Pen.

No one is sharing odd.  I've never really hunted anywhere else but around home or in the 300 units 336,346,352.  Not great deer units but have killed a few deer in them while elk hunting.

One of my favorite units for blacktail deer now costs $200 for access. So, it's no longer my favorite unit. Hunting the east side of the mountains this year, after not having done so for several years. Hopefully I'll have a new favorite deer unit for next year.

Gmu 204 would be my favorite because i have been hunting and fishing that unit for 22 years. I also own property there with Gmu 101 being a close second. The other Gmu's i like to bum around in would be 249 and 335 when i can't get to far from home.

I have had good success in some not so well known units away from the crowds . that being said being able to hunt the clockum in the rut is pretty special . the bob marshall is a special place aswell.

666. Grew up in the unit, know it very well with its many small huntable parcels and the fact that it has a long and generous season for either sex deer and elk. If you really search, you can find some quality animals. Outside of central Cali, the biggest living BT bucks I have ever seen have been near Oly.

I love the Blues Mountains Unit. I just can't find it listed in the regs  :dunno: I hear that's the only one with bulls bigger than spikes. I don't mind waiting 20 years to hunt it  :chuckle: anybody know what number it is?

All I have to say is...I like the desert. I like basalt and canyons and spotting and stalking to somehow get close enough to get a shot with my 55# recurve.  8)

I hear 490 is the best west side unit ever!  So good that it and the WDFW are responsible for breeding a whole new class of criminal. ;)
