Title: Coyote chasing deer
Post by: Jingles on June 02, 2014, 05:26:12 PM
Saw the odd thing today.   A coyote sneaking along a brush pile and all of a sudden it took off running like a scalded cat with a doe right on it's tail, chased it half way across a field before the doe stopped.

I've seen cows chase down and stomp the snot out of coyotes.  It really makes you day to see something like that!

One time I let out some coyote howls, and 8 does came running over the hill looking like they were ready to kick some coyote butt.  I glassed them over, and when they saw me stand up, they ran back over the hill!  :chuckle:
