Title: Coyote chasing deer
Post by: Jingles on June 02, 2014, 05:26:12 PM: Saw the odd thing today. A coyote sneaking along a brush pile and all of a sudden it took off running like a scalded cat with a doe right on it's tail, chased it half way across a field before the doe stopped.

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on June 02, 2014, 10:14:48 PM: One time I let out some coyote howls, and 8 does came running over the hill looking like they were ready to kick some coyote butt. I glassed them over, and when they saw me stand up, they ran back over the hill! :chuckle:

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on June 02, 2014, 10:36:08 PM: One time, in the same area, I saw a doe with twin fawns. Watched the area for coyotes for a long time to make sure none were sneaking up on them. The next year, I saw two yearling deer following a doe, so I guess they made it...
