Title: The day I dreaded arrived yesterday
Post by: Ridgerunner on June 03, 2014, 06:02:39 AM: I knew this day would come soon but it's always too soon. It's been a few years since I've shot pheasants over her but we had a heck of a fun run together. Having owned retrieving dogs for some 40+ years, I always expected letting them go would get easier over the years, it does not.
Every one has owned a special place in my heart.
I pray your grief is short and that ya get back on the horse (get a new pup) soon.
